It uses single-serve circular coffee pods in the brew chamber, and has a low-pressure pump tucked inside. The microcomputer is programed with Grindmaster’s commercial-grade brewing cycles, which allow the most flavorful coffee essences to fill your cup before the bitters are extracted.
Designed specifically for the American flavor profile, it has no fluffy espresso crema to get stuck on your lips. I led the designafairs USA team which included industrial design, mechanical engineering, and functional prototype development.
Grindmaster has been designing and brewing coffee for such diverse customers as US Navy aircraft carriers and trendy boutique coffee houses in Seattle. This beautiful product was Grindmaster’s first entry into the consumer market.
